Lori: A time to plan
A first it seemed like there was so much to do. I easily became overwhelmed. I remember telling Joe that he could plan everything, and that he should just tell me what day I should show up. I have since recovered from the initial shock of having only 4 years to plan, lol. Now it seems like everything is falling into place; most of the larger elements have been arranged. As I get ready to start a new school year, it's hard to believe that before that year is over we will be married.

Lori :Indecision
I never considered myself an indecisive person until now. It has been so hard to make some of the final selections for the wedding. There has been so much time to flip-flop, but we are moving into the final stages. It's been a fun yet stressful process. However, I am finding plenty of little projects to keep myself busy. And I would have to thank Bill, my step-father, for making my crazy project possible. I can't wait for you to see them!

Lori: And We're live
Finally, the website is live and Joe and I are no longer the only two reading and rereading all of this information. I have to say I am both excited and nervous. I can't wait until June, yet I am in disbelief that is is only 177 days away. I have so many other things I should be doing right now. However, updating this blog is by far the most enjoyable.
We are at the halfway point in December, and I haven't quite capture the Christmas spirit yet. Don't get me wrong, I am enjoying the mild weather. I don't think I have had enough time to register that it's the holiday season.
We hope you all take time to enjoy the things that matter most at this time of year: family and friends. It's easy to get caught up in the every day task--take a moment to appreciate all the wonderful people in your life.
